DAY CAMP FUN!!!!

Sign-up now for Cub Scout Day Camp! Day camp is a full week of activities with fellow scouts where you will get the opportunity to do lots of your favorite scoutting activities. If you have never been to day camp before you don't know what you are missing. The activities include: the zip-line, fishing, archery, BB guns, and much more. Be the envy of your friend and have the best summer ever.

Camp Details

When is day camp?

Our pack is attending day camp during session II on June 22nd through 26th. Day camp is from 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. with the opening flag ceremony at 9:00 A.M. Daily.

Where is day camp?

Day camp is at Camp Russell at 101st St. and 193rd E. Ave in Broken Arrow. You can also click here for a Google Map of the area. You will enter the camp ground at the place marker labled "A".

Registration Details:

Registration is due by May 16th and the cost for camp is $45.00. Download a copy of the registration form here or get a copy from your den leader. Then get the registration form and your payment back to your den leader before the dead line.

What do I need to bring?

Keep in mind we will be outside all day and your scout will have more fun if he is properly prepaired and equipped. Below is a list of essentials that you scout can not do without. You know your scout better than anyone else so if there are other items he will require then send those as well. Make sure your scout can keep track of all his belongings so only pack what is needed.

  • Sunscreen
  • Hat (wide brim is best)
  • Water Bottle (very important)
  • Insect Repellent
  • Non-perishable lunch with drink (also very important)
  • Poncho (it will rain so be prepaired)
  • Money for Trading Post (snacks, and goodies)

What should I wear?

It would be best to wear shorts or jeans with belt loops. Comfortable shoes and socks are required. NO SANDALS! We will be running and playing all day so make sure your scout will be comfortable in whatever weather we are dealing with.

Who can attend day camp?

Any registered cub scout going into 1st through 5th grade may attend day camp. Tiger cubs must be accompanied by a parent or adult partner to attend. Webelos will be grouped together and will be able to experience more challenging activities for older scouts.
